libjxr-tools software package provides JPEG-XR lib - command line apps, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjxr-tools
libjxr-tools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjxr-tools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjxr-tools *
You will get with libjxr-tools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
